Mitigation & Ecological Management

We believe ecological advice should be clear, practical and proportionate to the needs of each project. We take the time to understand the site, its ecological value and the aims of our clients before providing advice that can be realistically implemented. Our aim is to make the process straightforward, helping projects progress while achieving positive outcomes for biodiversity.

Our Approach

Working Together

Good ecological outcomes are achieved through collaboration. We work closely with clients, landowners, planners, contractors and other professionals to identify potential ecological issues early and find practical solutions. By working together from the outset, we can help reduce delays, avoid unnecessary costs and ensure that ecological considerations are properly integrated into each project.

Our work isn't simply about identifying ecological constraints. Wherever possible, we look for opportunities to enhance habitats and create lasting benefits for wildlife. From improving existing habitats to incorporating biodiversity enhancements into new developments, we aim to leave sites in a better condition for nature.

Practical Advice That Works

Ecology can sometimes feel complicated, particularly when it forms part of a larger planning or development project. We focus on providing straightforward, understandable advice that our clients can act upon. Whether a project is large or small, we provide a professional service tailored to the individual site and its requirements.

Supporting Projects from Start to Finish

We can support clients throughout the life of a project, from initial ecological considerations and surveys through to mitigation, enhancement and monitoring. This continuity allows us to understand the project as it develops and provide consistent ecological advice when it is needed most.
